On Monday the 27th October the National Breast Cancer Foundation will hold its annual Pink Ribbon Day. To date, the Pink Ribbon campaign has been successful in raising over $44 million and helping fund 168 breast cancer research programs. This year it’s even easier to get involved, with a wide number of ways to help raise funds.
All Australians are invited to host a Pink Ribbon breakfast at their home, workplace, park or local cafe. Simply register online, gather up your friends and take some time out to enjoy your favourite breaky treats. Last year there were close to 8000 breakfasts hosted, with over $3 million raised through donations and merchandise sales. This Monday Sarah Lorden Real Estate will be joining workplaces by across the country by hosting a breakfast and helping the National Breast Cancer Foundation work towards its goal of raising $4 million for 2008.
Sarah Lorden Real Estate is set to make another major contribution to the Pink Ribbon Campaign. Throughout October we will be donating $500 for every property we sell. With strong spring sales the tally is quickly building and for those ready to buy there’s never been a better reason to make your move quickly!
Of course if you can’t quite stretch to a house, you’ll find Pink Ribbon merchandise available throughout October at a large number of retail outlets. A simple way to show your support is by purchasing and wearing a pink ribbon, wrist band or diamante pin.
